I actively seek opportunities to further develop my skills and knowledge. I reflect on my teaching practice and determine the areas in which I need to develop.
I believe that I have met the criteria of 6.1 Identify and plan professional learning needs standard by doing the following:
- I attended a professional development day with colleagues that supported me to establish professional learning needs in order to move from Graduate to Proficient status as a teacher.
At a recent Professional Development session, I worked with colleagues to identify and plan for professional learning needs. We established areas in which we needed to develop as educators and progress from Graduate Teacher to Proficient Teacher status.

Where to Next?
As a passionate educator, I am aware that I need to learn and develop to ensure that the wellbeing of all students is supported. I would like to engage more with colleagues and find out strategies that work for them in terms of identifying and planning for learning needs. I would like to work more closely with TfEL documents in order to keep a check on my practice and identify growth areas within my practice. I would like to arrange an observation of my teaching and work with a mentor who will give feedback on my teaching.
