As a qualified snorkel instructor and Sustainability Education Specialist, I was invited and supported to attend the ANNUAL MOUNTAINS TO SEA WANANGA – CONFERENCE in New Zealand earlier this year. The conference was of benefit to me and my teaching for a range of reasons, including the following:
- Networking and learning with teachers from Australia and NZ
- Experiencing NZ culture and curriculum first-hand
- Engaging in current conversations regarding environmental education and science education
